Every interaction with the press/public was cringe-inducing. Showed no respect towards the city. Bad look for the team.

Shame that this guy took over and tarnished what King managed to build up for so many years.
His media presence seemed to be quite poor and his whole schtick around the "rebuild" word being used tarnished a bunch of credibility in my mind.

My interaction with him as a long standing season ticket holder was awful.
Had very basic questions about plans for seat allocation in the new building and received silly answers.

Bean is a good businessman and executive that never had any original designs on being in front of a camera. His people skills don't seem very polished, but I always got the impression he was valued internally.
Fresh starts for the organization across the board isn't bothering me a bit, however. Any speculation who would be in line for the job?

He certainly paled in comparison to King. Although, I don't know if anyone wouldn't.
It will be interesting to see who replaces him. Whoever it is will have their hands full with the arena for the next few years.

Robert Hayes will succeed Bean as Flames President and CEO; Lorenzo DeCicco is the team's new COO.
Hayes joins the Flames from a position with RBC. DeCicco served as the Sr. VP, Business at Telus from 2000 to 2019.
