That's awesome. I have a 5.5' box in my new truck and it's a total pain in the dick versus the 6.5' box in my last truck. On my next lease I'm going longer box and higher topper just like you have. That's a sweet set up.

Do you ever camp in the back?

It's a 6' box which juuuust fits he 29'er. I have never camped in it, I usually borrow my dad's camper van if I need to, I like the luxury! Funny though, the guy I bought the topper from said he camped in it all the time. The serial number on it indicates it is from 1986, so it's got some years on it! Sure wish they still made small trucks like this so at some point I'd have something similar to buy. But no, every small truck is like 7/8ths full size. I'd never buy a truck with less than a 6' box though.

Oh, this is what the rack looks like that I built to hold them upright. Nice and light, so easy to yank out when needed.

I recently had a bit of touch up work done to my Javelin.

Here's a video of Jason Cumby, owner of Apex Autobody in Hinton, AB. This guy is an artist when it comes to paint and body work. Check it out and pardon the shameless promotion of his business but check out his Facebook and/or webpage

sorry but I always seem to have trouble embedding the youtube links.

bahahaha! i can park just fine. the 2014 is about 3' longer than the 1989, so it took me maybe a couple days to adjust/get used to it (when i learned to drive my folks had a car (stick) and a full sized van (automatic).... i opted to figure things out in the automatic and learn how to drive a stick later... so driving a bigger vehicle has never been an issue). one thing i figured out early in my 'driving life' was to know the dimensions of my vehicle... it makes parking a whole lot easier!
i find with the trucks being lifted it's definitely easier to see stuff around you, so getting in and out of stalls isn't bad at all.

the only reason i bought the 2014 was becuz my wife and i now have 2 kids and the 1989 is a 2-seater, so i needed more seats to cart around kids. whenever we go places i pretty much always park a little farther away so i can have an empty stall on either side - it makes getting kids in and out of car seats on each side of the vehicle so much easier (and helps prevent idiots from denting your door panels!). i picked up a buddy a while ago and after i backed out of a parking stall he chuckled and asked if i ever bother to look at my back up camera. i laughed and told him i learned to drive without one and know how to do it with just my mirrors. i do check the screen when i first go into reverse, just to make sure nothing/anyone has gone behind the truck in the time it takes to hop in and go into reverse, but other than that i rarely look at the screen.
