Yes. Which is interesting because, after looking at the SHL scoring leaders to figure out a bit about where these guys stand, Petterson leads the SHL in ppg and didn't make it. Additionally, Johan Ryno is tied for second overall (first among Swedish born players) in points in that league, and isn't on the team. Two other guys in the top ten and not on the team are Michael Lindqvist and Victor Olofsson, who are only 23 and 22 years old respectively - so they may just be favouring a more experienced group in that regard. On defense, same thing, the top two SHL scorers are Joel Persson and Lawrence Pilut, again 23 and 22 years old.
Not that I watch SHL hockey or anything, I'm just going by the stats sheet as to who might be considered snubs. But it just looks like they don't want to bring too many kids with them.
