We wouldn't be complaining about the D if this team actually had scorers on the roster. The Flames can get shots, but they can't finish since they lack enough players that are opportunistic when they get a scoring chance. That's what's holding the team back; not converting on chances enough.
By D I didnt mean Defensive players. But rather as all players having a defensive mind-set or approach to the game. If you think last night was a defensively sound game... well I dont know what to say except I dont agree with that view at all. They were generating chances but they also give up way too many to a team that should have been on the outside looking in, but was the other way around.

There is more to get into about that game but I think if they want to have a chance they need to begin by being defensively sound. Especially when they arent likely to score themselves out of mistakes.

3-1 road trip would be good but LA should've been an automatic win.

2-2 will be a complete fail.

Won't be able to watch the game until tomorrow so if the Flames win and you don't see me post GioforPM, save the attacks

Saw no mention of it in the game thread last night. Anybody catch Johnny and Tkachuk holding hands and kissing each other’s gloves last night just before they came onto the ice?

Too bad Sport Select does not allow single game wagers.
Come on man! It’s 2020. Just use the internet like the rest of us degenerates.

Yeah, it's some strange superstition they've had for a while.

ANA have good players and will be a good test. CGY have to get back to the mental approach (compete and work hard) but also to their strengths:

Defend hard - take away space. Move the puck smartly with quick passing. Exit clean and make plays. If they control those aspects they can score goals and have fun! Also use the middle of the ice. Make those forays into offensive zone count with zone time, traffic, shots and high quality chances. Maximize CGY’s great skill and abilities.

No idea which Flames team is gonna show up tonight. I don't have much faith in this bunch right now, but here's hoping for a dominant win and a happy end to the road trip.
