Is there a place I where I could make a combined bet that oilers will miss playoffs and Flames will win... (will not jinx it)? I saw all this on a dream.

They didn't need a 9-game winning streak to put them in a playoff spot.

Great weekend for the local sport heroes! Including the abysmal start of the season the Flames now have now worked their way to an overall pts/g average of 1.18 for the season. That works out to a 8-6-0 record over the last 14 games. If that was the case then WPG, VAN, and DAL would not be able to catch us even if they won out. LA who is sitting in that 9th spot would need a record better than 11-3-1 in their final 15 games. If we keep our current ROW advantage they would likely need to finish 12-2-1.

Wow, just looked at our schedule and realized that the Dallas game is the last game against a team with nothing (standings-wise) to play for.
I guess at the end of the year, the LA game might be a foregone conclusion. Unfortunately that might make the game even more intense. SJ might be resting some top players in the last game. And even Anaheim might be resting players depending on how the next few weeks pan out. But after the last game, there's going to be quality competition in every game down the stretch!

Thanks I (obviously) missed that! Saw the cross over it and must have ignored the game. Ignore me then.
