Well you guys have a point.
Belle Glade and Pahokee are in Palm Beach county too. They’re the two poorest cities in Florida.
https://www.roadsnacks.net/poorest-places-in-florida/
Palm Beach is the second richest city; Palm Beach Gardens is number 6.
There have been several proposals to split the county.
And of course the news tends to pick up the ridiculous stuff.

The good news is that it doesn't look like they had a chance to use anything. It all looks clean.

Maybe they were just really concerned about hygiene in these days of pandemics.

A drug organization looking to have a hygienic location to imprison and torture enemies in the middle of a pandemic?
... it actually seems kinda logical.

That is frightening. It probably shouldn't, but I'm always amazed by the depth of depravity of some people in this world.

You'd think society would get tired of persecuting the Jews at some point. Blaming them for your problems is just cliche and lazy at this point.

When you've been doing it for 10,000 years it becomes a hard habit to kick.

Well, one of the great symbols of unity between faiths is now under the rule of far right wing orthodoxy. The Christian symbols dating back before 1400 are not allowed in this structure any longer, and I hope that they arn't simply destroyed.
I give it four years before the Byzantine/Ottoman divide in Turkey gets really violent.

English footballer Wilfried Zaha has been subjected to vile racist messages on Twitter yesterday, including threats and freaking KKK pictures. Turns out it was a 12 year old boy who has since been arrested.

Could a hawk snatch a Tortoise? I would think it would be too heavy. What about a lynx?

A hawk can't lift much more than a couple of pounds, and I would think a Lynx would have trouble getting it over a fence given that their yard was presumably enclosed. There are certain dog breeds that could probably manage it.
