Yes. Unfortunately.

Its a shame but its an inevitability.

Yeah, George Clooney seems to be a middle of the road director. Most of his movies are fine to good. Confessions of a Dangerous Mind is great but Sam Rockwell can carry a movie on his own.

Every once in a while Netflix releases something that doesn’t suck. Trial of the Chicago 7 is one of those. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very topical to current events too.

Queen's Gambit is excellent. Sports movie disguised as a period drama mini-series, and the lead actress (Joy) is likely to get some Golden Globe consideration.

Started the first episode last night, but I was tired so we changed it half way through. So far it seems good, will be watching the rest for sure (when I am not falling asleep).

Watched this last night. It was incredible. I'm sure a lot of the discovery was played up for drama but it was still super compelling.

Hereditary. Typically don't find horror movies scary but this actually gave me shivers, and it was simply a well done movie with a great performance by Toni Collette.

Despite obviously being a documentary, my brain still kept waiting for someone to say something like "...we awoke something..." or "....meddling with forces we can't understand..." before kicking into a typical Hollywood action movie trailer.

I really enjoyed his follow up film Midsommar.

I imagine Comedy Central owns the rights? So why is Dave endorsing it after how it ended? Does he get a percentage of the syndication?

I wanted to like the Sarah Cooper Netflix special, but didn't laugh once.

Probably because he's really grown as a person, likely knows he's one of the greatest comedians of all time and wants everyone to see something he's really proud of.

TLDR: Having his show resurrected on a format that hundreds of millions are on benefits him greatly and he's come back as a king, so no reason to hold down his own material due to bitterness.

Season 2 is already better than season 1.

The episode where they women was found dead in Oslo was crazy. I couldn’t sleep last night.
I'm about 10 minutes into this episode right now and wow does it sound like the Isdal Woman. Same country and many of the same circumstances, except this happened in the 1970s.

It's hard to find a lot of quality content on the Isdal Woman, but if you were befuddled and intrigued by this episode of Unsolved Mysteries I suggest checking into it, including the podcast Death in Ice Valley. Every time you think you know the answer, they throw a wrench in.

You brought up some very reasonable points, but he does have some pretty strong feelings for Comedy Central's treatment of him from his Netflix special a few years ago. I think what you said overrides anger towards them though.

Papillon was great, big fan of Charlie Hunnam and his work in SOA also enjoyed the quick cameo by fellow SOA star Tommy Flanigan
