I watched a video of unmasked food preparers; I wouldn’t eat at any establishment where people making my meal were unmasked. They were talking over the food. Many people spew moisture when they speak.
Dining out may be over for you then. How about bars/pubs where people make your drinks?

I think MoneyGuy is the same poster that said that he would stiff the waitress for a tip if she wasn't wearing a mask when it was not even a mandate. Home cooking sounds like it's more up his alley until he gets more comfortable.

The Director-General of WHO has called for a moratorium on booster vaccination for healthy adults until the end of 2021 to counter the persisting and profound inequity in global vaccine access (2).
Quote:
While many countries are far from reaching the 40% coverage target by the end of 2021, other countries have vaccinated well beyond this threshold, already reaching children and implementing extensive booster vaccination programmes. At the time of release of this statement, globally about 20% of COVID-19 vaccine doses, daily, are used for booster or additional dose vaccination.
Jan 18 (Reuters) - There is no evidence at present that healthy children and adolescents need booster doses of COVID-19 vaccine, the World Health Organization's chief scientist Soumya Swaminathan said on Tuesday.
Quote:
"There is no evidence right now that healthy children or healthy adolescents need boosters. No evidence at all," she said.
They actually just reversed their statement yesterday. They were, in fact, telling healthy individuals not to get boosted.
Quote:
In a statement, the WHO said the Technical Advisory Group on COVID-19 Vaccine Composition "strongly supports urgent and broad access to current COVID-19 vaccines for primary series and booster doses, particularly for groups at risk of developing severe disease."
The WHO has previously spoken out against administering COVID-19 booster shots, arguing that wealthier countries should abstain from administering additional doses while low- and middle-income countries have struggled to provide initial rounds of vaccinations for their populations.

So if I normally tip 20% and decide to tip 15% because some waitress was talking moistly as she was holding my plate, that's wrong? I guess we disagree.

Are you telling us that you felt it noteworthy to tell that story -- all over a difference of 5% in your tip?
Don't be a pedant. A tip of between 15-20% is not particularly noteworthy if you're in the service industry, it's a pretty standard tipping range for most people.
All I'm saying is I don't think someone makes a story out of "I tipped 15% when I normally tipped 20%".

It’s wrong to adjust your tip for any reason.
It’s a rather disgusting mix between slavery and prostitution.
To do it for uniform reasons where some customers will penalize the person for wearing one and some will penalize for not wearing is gross

I tip alogirthmically - but I tip a higher % at restaurants with a low ticket cost. It's just as much work to bring me pancakes at IHOP as it is a steak.
