Bolded bit not entirely true. The FA accepted in the Suarez case that the word can be used in a friendly and affectionate way but was not in the case when he was racially abusing Evra.

Cavani was by all accounts thanking a well wisher with the word. I would expect and hope that they look at the context. He's replying to a post in Spanish using a word that has zero racist connotations in that language.

Nonetheless, it's United. Probably get a three game ban.
My guess is he gets the Silva 1 game

Luiz staying on the field post collision wasnt good

Hope Jimenez is ok, that kind of incident is what ended Ryan Masons career

As in he shouldn't have played with that injury or he should have gotten a red card?
I didn't see the incident

He shouldn't have played after the collision from a player safety point of view. He had bandages around his head and bleeding through, quite noticeably. It just seems like he had to have had his bell rung in that collision.

Aside from that (which was honestly not good and scary that they had to give Jiminez oxygen on the field), that was a most enjoyable game. I was hoping that they couldn't score from open play and their goal of the month would be a penalty, alas they found a way through. Still though, one goal from open play in November isn't exactly inspired football!

I'm a tiny bit concerned that Dr. Tottenham shows up on Sunday, but mostly I feel like Jose will have these guys well drilled and up for the NLD. It should be exciting!

Take a minute to pray for Jack's recovery here, and pray that the sniper who took him out is brought to justice.

Marine of the 8th tier draw Spurs in the third round of the FA Cup, historically the biggest gap between two clubs in that round.

Entire Newcastle squad is self-isolating after a COVID outbreak at the club. Game against Villa on Friday might be postponed - https://www.theguardian.com/football...icant-outbreak

Normally a club like Marine would forfeit home advantage to get the payday out of a shared gate at WHL.
But with restrictions of 2k, would it be worth their while?

I always preferred when smaller clubs would keep the game at their home ground, mostly because I just liked seeing the top players having to play on some bobbly pitch surrounded by ads for local builders and people sitting on their rooftops overlooking the ground.

From what I read, Marine plan to play at home. Maybe to give their fans a nice day? (I'm assuming away travel isn't happening under the new restrictions)

From Wiki: The ground's current capacity is 3,185, of which 389 are seated

Doubt they'll get the 2k allowance the PL clubs are getting. But yeah, nice bobbly mid January pitch.

Why would it be postponed, and not forfeited?

He didn't look good, seemed a bit unsure on his feet. Hard to diagnose from the tv but he looked concussed

Reminded me of a.similar hit Vertonghen took 2 years ago now? And he had the same thing, stayed on till ht and didn't come back out

Pogba starts, Bruno sits.

This should go well.

In fairness Ole's been riding Bruno hard and putting him away wet.

While hes been easily your best player, its like they cant accomplish anything without him.

Ole seems to know his job is hanging by a thread. Bruno and Rashford as half-time subs.

Tuesday is the big one. Crashing out of the group after winning the first two games convincingly would be indefensible.

Thats not going to be an easy one either. I cant see PSG losing to Istanbul and Leipzig are going to have it all to play for.
