So Scorp, are you excited about voting for Klimchuk the next 8 rounds? You kind of miss out on all the fun by going crazy off the board like that.

I believe in the Jays.

Dube or Kylington... hmmm. Guess I'll go with Dube really like his tenacious two-way game.

Even though picking goalies’ career arc is like voodoo I’ll take Parsons here

No question Parsons has a few years in the AHL ahead of him, but he’s the real deal.
I think Dube cracks the lineup shortly.

Kylington is an easy choice for me here. Still has star potential (as a ceiling) but I think has established that he at least will be a regular NHL defenceman. Frankly, after his year of progression last season, I'm surprised to see him trailing this poll (especially to Parsons who disappointed a bit last season.)

Went with Dube who I think has the best chance of being an impactful player soonest. If Parsons develops he will be the most important piece and it would be better for the Flames if he is the better prospect in hindsight.

First two were clear cut Valimaki and then Andersson for me. This one was really tough between Dube, Parsons and Eatbread. Went with Dube.

This, for me as well. I think many of the top are very close, but what do I know!

Went with Parsons for this one because of the heights he reached as a junior prospect. Last season was marred by injury but it does feel like a lot like going out on a limb when compared with some other guys that have already found success at the pro level. I really admire his skill level and competitiveness. He reminds me of Quick and it would be so huge for this franchise to develop that quality of goaltender.

I still feel Parsons has upside as a starting goalie (and a good one to boot).
Even though Dube seems more likely to make the NHL (as goalies are wildcards) a guy who could potentially fill one of the most important positions on the ice trumps a good 3rd liner.

I feel like I want to see a prospect make a good transition from junior to the pros before I rank them at the top. That knocks Dube and Parsons down a bit for me. I’d go with Kylington as the prospect who has made the jump, continues to progress, and has a high ceiling.

It is with a bit of disappointment that is directly related to trading away draft picks that I picked Dube as the 3rd best Flame prospect.
I look at his Rocket teammate Kole Lind drafted by the Canucks who being a year younger had a similar season to Dube, and how far down he would rank in the Canuck prospect list.
Dube would have got some games with last years roster, but with the addition of Neal , Ryan and Czarnik replacing Stajan and Ferland there will have to be a lot of injuries for him to get a real look with the Flames.
He will have a full year in the AHL to build his pro game.

well if it makes you feel better the age difference is only a couple of months despite different draft years
