The only thing with that is Washington seems pretty banged up from playing as hard as they did. They could be missing some key players and have a few guys obviously playing injured.
Hopefully a bit of rest will give them time to heal up a bit.
Caps impressed the hell out of me the past two games, great hockey. I do think they may have blown their wad getting past Tampa but if Holtby can stay hot you never know.
Trotz's team with a 3-0 and 4-0 wins facing elimination. Thats afrer beating their nemesis in game 7 last round.
Thats a statement if there ever was one.
Game Six. Pittsburgh only made it to six.

We will see. It's going to be an excellent series. I think it was interesting that Holtby had two shutouts back to back. So we have two goaltenders that can steal a game (although Tampa seemed off the rails only getting 1 shot in net in 10 minutes in the third yesterday). Both teams are very well matched physically and offensively.
I think Vegas might possibly have better defence. Muddling up the neutral zone.
I'm still blown away by the fact that the Knights have only lost 3 games in 15. That the majority consensus seems to believe their fairy tale is coming to an end, where they just rolled through every opponent.
And of course the twist that MAF has so much experience with the Capitals and Ovechkin.

My disappointment in the flames season got me to tune for the playoffs, but I tuned in for the last period just to watch the soul get sucked out of Tampa. Always and forever, #### the lightning.

I'm glad Ovy has a chance at a cup. I really like him as a hockey player, and think he deserves it. He plays hockey the way it should be played, imo.
Happy for him. Hope he gets it.
