This will be the third time the Leafs and Bruins meet in the playoffs in modern times. The Bruins won 4-3 in 2018 and 2013.
More has been done with less, but it's certainly not a deep group and if any of their top-4 get hurt, they're toast.
Well, it's still not a sure thing though. Remember that you are cheering for a team that made it all the way to the finals (and eliminated the team that would later steal the cup from us) in 2004 on the backs of a couple of good defensemen coupled with a bunch of bottom pairing defensemen and even Brennan Evans, a guy who noone still to this day knows who he is.
I love how Brad has built the Flames to be able to withstand just about anything happening to the blueline, but the playoffs are where some teams overcome every type of issue coming their way. If Toronto are able to finally throw the Bruins off their backs, I would think they could be able to overcome all kinds of adversity.
