Default CP Vegas road trip?

I just picked up 6 tickets for the Feb 21st game - Flames at Golden Knights. It's a Wednesday night. Anyone else planning on going? Perhaps a meet up would be in order.

There is also a Sunday afternoon game down there on March 18th.

I might be there in March.

The March game is Sunday the 18th (Saturday would be St. Patrick's Day in Vegas - gong show).

If there are enough people (say 12 or 15) is it more economical to get a charter or share a private plane? I have no idea about these things, but curious.

I have been told it's not economical until you have around 100 people. However most airlines have a groups department you can book through to get a deal for smaller groups.

I might try to head down for a game. Would probably end up being a pretty last minute decision though.

Chatting with my wife who is a Charter Airline flight coordinator out of Calgary gave me some prices.

For a Falcon Jet Aircraft that seats 12, requires no fuel stops is about $65,000.00 or roughly $6000/per person.

For a Dash-8 that seats 37, No fuel stops required, about $80,000.00 or $2200/per person.

For those curious.

Bought some Center Ice Club tickets for the March 18th game. I will be wearing the Flames retro jersey!

I used stubhub. They had a better selection even though the Knights just released single game tickets. You pay more in fees though. I'd check at the Golden Knights website first and than see if you can find something better on a stubhub type site.

March 15th will be first day of March Madness - good luck getting a Sports Book to show a hockey game that weekend.

That would be a long crappy flight on a Dash 8. Save you money for the various entertainment options in Vegas. Or fly first class.

I wonder if any suites or group ticket options will be available this season?

I've been down a few times in the middle of March madness, it's never been an issue to get a hockey game on. Most places have 8 million TV's so they can switch one over no problem.

I've got a few buddies in Calgary interested in going. Getting a section or suite would be awesome.
