What do you expect the officials to do when a team asks for a review? Say, no sorry we won't be doing that.

well, you get a penalty if wrong, and if they went ahead with the review (which they wouldn't have), it would have taken 5 seconds

Vegas really limited the 'Hawks' opportunities. Then, were able to take advantage when the 'Hawks had to open the game up. Lehner was good, but, really, wasn't challenged.

This game seemed to get off to a slow start, as both teams started a little timidly. A big difference from the wide open games that the 'Hawks just came off of.

Crawford does need to be better, but, when Kane is the nearest defender on the back check (and he did bust his A trying to get back, on Smith's semi-break), things are NOT going according to plan.

Down 1-0 in the series to a better, team, the 'Hawks have to find a way to take the next game, or this looks like it will be over quickly.

Vegas has to play the same way, as the 'Hawks do have enough talent to take advantage of a letdown. But, it is unlikely that the 'Hawks will be able to just flip a switch and find a way to dominate.

It's bizarre how Lehner was the 3rd star and only made 19 saves. Crawford made 30 saves.

It's bizarre to me how Chicago traded Lehner at the deadline and then loses to him first game of the playoffs. Has that ever happened with a goalie trade before?

Not sure if it was because of the delay and Doc being behind the play during the game, but I didn't enjoy his PBP last night. Used to be one of my personal favourites too.

Not the first game of the playoffs, but I'm sure San Jose wasn't too happy to walk past Miikka in the handshake line after gifting him to us earlier that year.

How McDavid didn't score 100 goals a night on Crawford is beyond me. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad the Coilers lost, but jeeez, Crawford looked horrific out there yesterday.

Shows you how bad the Oilers backend is

He's not on site if I recall. I remember reading a press release from NBC when things were getting underway that he's in Detroit calling games from monitors for at least the first round or two.

I can see why people like him, but I can't stand his voice, so he's not one of my favorites.

Crawford looks like a goalie about to retire. He's just slow in all of his movements.

He's had a pretty fantastic career though, so if this it for him - he's had a good run.

The Blackhawks are playing on house money so they might up and get lucky. But from what I saw last night this looks like a sweep.

Anaheim really should fire Bob Murray for that Theodore trade. That move should be up there with the Gilmour trade for all time stupidity.

I want to thank the Blackhawks for dispatching the Oilers. Their service is very much appreciated. Now, I would ask that they at least take as many Knights with them on their way out of the 1st round.

Oh man, late in the first, Kane beats Lehner through the five-hole with a beautiful shot and it goes off the post and out.

2-0 Vegas after 1.

I really hope Chicago can make a series out of this. At least drag the Knights to like 7 games to tire them out a bit would be nice. Lol.
