Parsons has been doing well in KC since his return too. An 8-3-0 record with one shutout and a .926 SV%.

Since then Zag goes 0.00 and 1.000 .... just being cheeky. Stockton (and Parsons) Goaltending looking good.

At 86.7%, the Heat has the third-best PK unit in the AHL.
Also, best PP in the AHL.

Zagidulin started both games of the back to back giving up just one goal.
2.97 GAA and .901 sv% on the year now.
Looks like both goaltending and team defence have greatly improved since the start of the season.

The team is 2nd over-all in Goals For and 8th best in Goals Against as well.
Sure, it's not always about team success when it comes to prospect development from an organizational standpoint, but it does give some stability to the affiliate and grows the local fanbase.

I think team success is important, but especially when you are a young team. What impressed me most is the Heat only have 6 regulars (including Czarnik) over the age of 25 and one of those is Gallant who is more of a fighter than anything.

Are you actually in Stockton? Sounds like you're particularly plugged into the happenings there.

No, in Southern Alberta, formerly Abbotsford, was a season ticket holder then. Now, I just try and follow them as closely as I can, as I have since they moved.

Does this show how goalies are so unpredictable from season to season. Many were ready to give up on Gilles but he is having a good season. Parsons has had his problems but seems to be putting things back together down in the echl.
Goalies really are a box of chocolates

Nice bounce back for Zagidulin after being yanked in his last game too.
