Default Has anyone else just lost complete interest

I dont think I've watched a full game other than the Flames this post season and now that we are out I have barely watched a period of hockey.

Between the disappointment of how our season ended and the way refs are dictating the outcome of games I have just lost complete interest. Does anyone feel the same?

Guess I'm just a flames fan and not a hockey fan

I think the last compelling thing left in these playoffs is whether Boston can save us from Maple Leaf media again. After that, I'm cheering for Columbus but won't really be going out of my way to watch every night.

I have watched the Flames ever since they moved to Calgary.
They had a poor result in the play-offs, but I haven't been as entertained with a regular season team this much since the late 1980s.
I feel that their window has just opened and they have 2 - 3 years with a good chance to make the push into the SCF.
It's often said that in professional sports, you have to learn the pain of losing before you can go deep in the play-offs.
I think that this applies most strongly to the NHL.
I'm confident that next season's Calgary Flames will continue to provide great entertainment and progress further in their next play-off series.

I watch as much as my schedule lets me. Hockey is so much more enjoyable without the emotional roller coaster.

Normally I'm all over playoff hockey, but now every game I watch I find myself thinking to myself "this should be the Flames" and turn it off.

Maybe not 100% disinterested, but I'd rather watch a Raptors game or go just do an activity than have to watch a team like Vegas or Toronto win.

Much like the above post I think it's just bitterness on my part.

I'm really only keen on watch St.Louis or Columbus. End of round 1 is pretty deflating most of the time. Add the Flames fizzing out on top of the lull and it really is super meh.

When the Flames are in the playoffs, I watch very little hockey after they get knocked out. I just tune in for Game 7s, or tense elimination moments or OT

When the Flames aren't in the playoffs, I watch as much hockey as humanly possible the entire playoffs.

It just gets very depressing after the Flames are eliminated

I have pretty much lost interest. Once the Leafs are out I don’t really care who wins. I guess I would root for the Avs (we were beaten by the best). I doubt I watch much of the second round but will keep tabs.

I was convinced we were watching the Flames play in May this year. I still haven’t worked through all the stages of grieving for this miss. I was in denial/disbelief most of the weekend shifted to sadness last night when the Flames were in fact not playing game 6 and this morning I have entered the anger stage.

Yep, I only watched the second OT of the Knights/Sharks game because there was nothing else on. My dad is a Bruins fan so we had the game on yesterday for Easter dinner.

I'm not as upset as I was on Friday night and Saturday but it still angers me seeing playoff commercials. I was prepared for the Flames not winning the Cup but losing in the first round and the way they did it is just inexcusable.

My level of enjoyment and interest will increase significantly with one more victory by the Bruins
