Jagr was awesome. Had no problem with his time here. But my point is the Flames have tried to add forwards with size and edge and they have been expensive failures. Neal and Brouwer will collectively cost the Flames $7+ million for another 3+ years after this season.
To me, Peters is right when he says the team needs to be faster and Treliving is right when he says that size is good, but you still have to be able to play the game. I’m not adding size at the expensive of skill and talent. Heck, look at what happened when we traded Ferland for Lindholm, our 1st line exploded and we made the playoffs with a 21 point margin.
