does the Alberta Party have no money whatsoever?
they're a ghost of a party right now. can't they even ask one of their kids to tweet?
they only time I've heard from them in the last 6 months was when they didn't file on time with elections office. I'm going to see if they have anyone in my riding yet and attempt to contact them.

They're tweeting all the time. Get on their mailing list too. Are you sticking your head in the sand here? Or are you referring to the fact that they haven't been front and center in the media lately?
Sometimes no news is good news, especially with recent events relating to other parties.

100% agree with this.
Full disclosure, I'm volunteering for them, but if you do a little bit of work it's pretty easy to see what they are up to.
If you aren't following them, you won't see them tweet.
As for finding if someone is running in your riding, chances are good. We've nominated something like 75 candidates already, and will have a full slate for the election.

Any outlet that is forced to retract a story should be made to make that retraction and the reasons behind it known to an equivalent level as the original story. It might not mitigate the damage they do, but it might make them think twice about vetting their sources if they would need to run a bunch of pieces on how they screwed up and reported something that wasn't true. Want to run your story as the headline piece on the news and make it front and center on your website? That's where the retraction goes, along with the reason behind the retraction.

That doesn't fit with the current outrage culture though. Get a story out there ASAP and worry about minor details like whether it is true or not later.

While I'm the furthest thing from a fan of Aryan Sadat, one board member did confirm he resigned and their resignations were emailed to the party president.

As far as "This didn't age well" goes, this is certainly elite.

This just seems like any other day in the UCP, she must just not understand tactical politics.

You think she resigned of her own volition? I'm going with "step down now, or we will boot you out."

A well-reasoned, logical, completely non-partisan opinion...

Out of genuine curiosity, how many people do you know who are completely unemployed living in this province?
Students, part time, and seasonal worker excluded.
I know two, granted I don't have facebook so I don't have day to day access to the lives of 500 people. Both of these people were never stably employed, regardless of economic conditions.

I guess the only question left is what kind of double meat I'll get on my Subway once everything suddenly turns back to 2007 this spring.

I conceded the win to mouse turd Kenney 2 weeks ago. I'm so glad he is doing everything in his power not to become the next Premier of Alberta!
Thank you Harper Clone V. 3.1! You might need a software update.....
