I find most new popular releases net in the range of $30 which isn't bad but they then turn around and put it for sale at $70. I feel if they undercut new release prices by at least $20 they would sell more used games. To me it's not worth it to buy a used game for $10 less than a new one.

EB Games has been alright for trades, though I too prefer local and VGT. But ResAlien is talking of Gamestop proper, which does have an exceedingly poor reputation for offering value on trades.

That said, and Far Cry has done it in every game in the series, but I absolutely hate drug tripping out scenes in games. They're never fun, they're never interesting, and you can never skip the damn things.

Easily the most annoying missions in Far Cry 4 and they were at least a good 30% of the game.

And you walk so slowly. A lot of the time you just need to get across a field or something but you move at a snails pace. It isn't fun

Arkham Asylum was the first time I saw that and it was actually really good an effective there. Seems like it’s become a AAA game trope ever since.

If you play it on acid it’s the only normal part of the game.

Will keep that in mind for my next acid trip.

back in the day, iirc, max payne had a super interesting trippy segment like that... but yeah, Far Cry's versions have become more painful with each new release

oh boy, those graphics haven't aged well though!

The only Far Cry games I've played are 5 and Primal, I'm guessing 5's version of the trip-out missions mentioned are those Zoolander'esque assassination training sessions? Yeah those are a bit much. I didn't really mind it at first as it was new to me, but I think there were like 5 of them in that game, including two pretty much back to back. Yeah they got frustrating, I hate the pace of those.

I really enjoyed the game when you're just free-roaming around, its a beautiful setting. But yeah those trip-out missions and some of the boss missions - especially the escape afterwards - are just too crazy and ''spiny'' for someone who never really plays FPS games. The pacing stresses me out, anxiety just through the roof on those missions lol

If you liked 5 give 3 and 4 a try. I enjoyed them a lot more

Nothing beats tripping balls in GTA 5 and seeing Aliens

And getting to open up on them with a minigun. That was fun.

Picked up WWE 19 earlier this week on the PS4 for 29$. Spot on reviews being fun to play loaded with bugs. It's the type of game that's awesome playing with 2 or 4 people. Although I see it hitting the shelf in my house sooner than later

This is the first time I’m legitimately considering tapping out on a game. Sekiro’s final boss is a lovely mix of DS difficulty and Nioh’s cheapness. I’m thinking the 100th try is going to be where I just look up the ending on YouTube.

Up until now though it was great. Never felt overwhelmingly difficult or hard for the sake of being a pain in the butt.

I just started playing but I'm already having a tough time against some of the early foes with unblock-able moves. I've finished all the Demon/Dark Souls games as well as Nioh (I didn't feel it was that cheap) but this one requires more high speed precision and is very unforgiving with the parry timing.
