Yeah, after seeing Tenet I read reviews and found more than a few stories on the mix and the buried dialogue. It's quite a common gripe, especially with this new film. One article states that it's a conscious decision:

Heh I read those comments here and went in a little concerned about the dialogue. Maybe I just tried to listen extra hard because of it. I did think our theatre was overly loud, maybe they cranked the sound?
If you're looking for a solid horror film this Halloween season check out 1BR. Thought it was effective and had some seriously creepy moments and a solid story.
"Capone" with Tom Hardy as Al Capone showed up on Kanopy the other day. The closed captioning isn't working for it, and I can't understand a thing that he says. It's just high-pitched mumbling.
I watched another one with Hardy a couple years ago where he plays these Twin London Gangsters and yeah, it was the same thing.
"Is this in English? Are we sure? I cant understand a goddamned thing."

I'd like to be able to hear and understand what the hell it is I'm watching. I cut Nolan a ton of slack as it is....sometimes he takes a little too much.

Specifically, how can Kat be on the boat at the end with Sadir and not require an oxygen mask? How is it possible for her to be in the same time, moving forward and not inverted?
My goodness, the more I think about the plot the more annoyed I am with it.

I do think it’s not the same experience for everyone and depends on your hearing and how you can decipher certain sounds etc.
But it definitely seems to be a thing with Nolan films for a great many people.

You're wrong it completely followed the rule

You only need oxygen mask when inverted (moving backwards in time). She (both of them) were moving forward in time on the boat.
What happened was she was shot and got inverted but they went back in time further than the boat trip.
Let's say, for simplicity, Day 0 was when she was on the boat, day 7 she got shot, they inverted, healed her up, gave her the inverted oxygen, etc. and spent more than a week going in back in time to before Day 0. They then unvertered (not really a word) so now there are two Kat's on Day 0 moving forward). One Kat is just a couple weeks older than the other from her perspective.
I don't quite follow the items, those are more of a headscratcher, but the people stuff followed the rules.

From Kat's perspective, she was on a boat, saw a person (unbeknown to her it was her older self) jump from it. She met up Denzel's kid, got dragged into that mess, got shot, got inverted, stayed inverted long enough that when she was unverted she was now at a time before her past self had left the boat. She got on the boat, and jumped from it.

Decided to bite the bullet and watch Charlie's Angels. Don't know why really. I already find Kristen Steward extremely irritating and that continued. The rest of the cast was pretty good, or at least on on Steward levels.
But the single most irritating thing is they retconned Patrick Steward to be the original Bosley through the original tv show (which I never watched) and the first movies, which is fine, but then:

It makes no sense for him to be the bad guy, and reeks for them only doing it to be "edgy" or some BS like that. And then to have him make a sexist remark in his fight with Elizabeth Banks? This guy that has been surrounded his entire life by women who could kick his ass at any time? Sorry, not buying it, and it absolutely ruined it.
My 11 year-old son has been pestering me to watch his first horror movie. He is a bit of a sci-fi fan so we decided on Alien. He wasn't scared at all watching it.
The movie holds up quite well by the way. I was pleasantly surprised. 3.5/5

Oh, jebus, I was so lost at this point, i didnt think you could even do time travel, just inverse or whatever. Honestly, the sound was so bad it was hard to follow the explanations of the theories. I consider myself of average intelligence and this movie lost me.
