Can't believe they've already re-booted Spiderman. The original of the last series came out not even a decade ago. All these superhero movies are starting to get annoying.
If Raimi's spiderman movies never happened, I might be interested in seeing this. But they did happen and a re boot should have been at least 10 years from now.
After the travesty that was Spiderman 3 - specifically the strut scene - I need a new Spiderman to ease the memory. Nothing can be as bad as that awful awful scene.
I'm still waiting for Sony to send me my money back for the travesty that was Spiderman 3.

I can't find a youtube link for this trailer specifcially but it's ultra-violent. Paul Giamatti and Brian Cox in a medieval war movie? Sure I'll see it.
I've seen them all. Not a fan of Tom Cruise in his personal life, but really, who cares? It's about the movie, not his life. I'll watch it.
I agree. I like Tom Cruise movies, for the most part. I think he's a bit of a nut job lately, but his movies haven't really suffered. I think the trailer for the new Mission Impossible looks pretty bad ass. And frankly, with Jeremy Renner being groomed to take over the franchise, I definitely want to see it.
^^^ I can't believe they are rebooting the Spiderman franchise already. The first Spiderman only came out 9 years ago!
Oh well, I guess since 14 year old girls with no taste are the leading music demographic, nerdy fanboys who just want escapist action are the leading film demographic now. We're doomed to a continued future of bubblegum pop and endless comic book and graphic novel movies.
The dumb thing is the first two Spiderman movies were pretty good, it's just the third that was such a steaming pile. Couldn't have they just worked around that?
If you thought the first two Spiderman films were "pretty good" then you probably fit into that "nerdy fanboy" demographic. All 3 Spiderman movies sucked.

The first two Spiderman movies are awesome.
The first one has a rating of 89 on Rottontomatoes, and the second has a 92. The third one is just a mess... a total mess, but the first two are very good movies. You don't have to be a nerdy fanboy to think that.
