This series is coming down to who sucks less. I'll definitely take winning over losing, but either Vegas or Colorado are going to have an easy road to the conference finals

Francis can be an idiot, but what exactly about what he said was wrong?

He was harsh but pretty bang on IMO. This was the Talbot show and Dallas dominated.

No issues for me unless I missed something which is possible.

How was that not a delay of game penalty on Comeau?

I am happy with the win but come on! Wikipedia shows this video as the baseline for delay of game!

Been there, it takes awhile to get the F's and S's right.
I'm sure the NHL has a dentist on site to fit him with a temporary bridge.

Some wins look more like something your friend did at paint night after 6 glasses of wine.

You still take it and say thank you... and then, you know, bring it out only when they’re coming over.

This win gets stored in the crawl space. But it’s a win.

Yeah IMO Francis is bang-on if he's asking about the poor showing by a lot of guys tonight (didn't hear the exact question).

You can absolutely be happy that they won tonight but they NEED to be better to win this series. Tonight's effort isn't going to cut it going forward.

I've always felt like in a series you need to win a game thanks to your goaltender, a game thanks to your best players outscoring the other team, a game thanks to your special teams, and a game thanks to your depth. You can't rely on any one factor for too long, you need a perfect combo to go far.

Flames need the top line to show up, even if it's just for the PP.

Monahan has been criticized heavily for his lack of production (and rightly so), but I see him fighting through playoff tight checking in both ends of the rink. Gaudreau gets the puck in the defensive zone and gives the puck away almost exclusively when pressured. At the very least, Johnny needs to use his speed and elusiveness to draw penalties if he can't make the plays when needed.

You know, people keep saying that, but we did just get a 2-0 shutout win playing like trash. Maybe all we need is to play like trash?

All hail the trash men!

Before they're done the season, I hope they have a contest to see who can pee straight up and hit the oildrop bullseye.
