Can't say I'm looking forward to it. Got a few hours into Fable II and got super bored. It took way too long to complete the tasks to unlock stuff. Throwing the ball/feeding/petting the dog drove me nuts after the first couple of times.

Never played the first Force Unleashed but I'm tempted to pick both of these up. First one worth it?

I enjoyed it, just don't pick up the PC Port.
I thought it was a fun game, the animations and art work are really good. The storyline was solid in the first one, just don't expect it to be the ultimate star wars game.
However the major payoff is the first mission where you play as Darth Vader and you get to understand how powerfull he really was.

I'm sold. The best part about Battlefront II was being Vader. Sorry to Meelapo for nerding it up with Star Wars talk in your Fable II thread. If that's possible...

If you're going to buy Force Unleashed just to play as Vader, you're going to be disappointed. That's an expensive 15 minutes.

True, but I did enjoy being Star Killer.
The only thing that I didn't see as a positive was that the level designs at times could be too simple.
The Vader level was awesome, epecially with the visuals of the Star Destroyers cruising through the atmosphere, and if you looked down off of the cliffs you could see Imperial walkers in battle.

Yeah, sorry about that. They should have stuck to swords and magic, IMHO. Muskets and the french revolution aren't really my bag.

Didnt like Fable II, never finished it. I hate that its more about gun slinging, no armour changes, nothing really cool.
Peter M really likes to overhype his games, Once he releases an insane game i will be impressed, right now i think its kind of dumb to give him so much credit.
Ill see what it gets, probably wont buy it.

Fable III a.k.a Peter Molyneaux hypes up a game for the playability and innovations... that the game doesn't have for a third time.
Force Unleashed 2 a.k.a Studio uses Star Wars fanbase to propel a mediocre game to bestselling status for a second time.
So far the games being released this fall are just severely lacking, especially with all the New Vegas bugs.

True but NBA 2K11 did make up for all of the other sub-par releases so far.

It's good, basically just continues on more of what Fable 2 was. Solid action/adventure game.
But yeah, overall quite an underwhelming holiday season this year.

My sister bought it, it looks the exact same as Fable II.
Whats with developers making minor differences in a game and calling it a sequel (COd Black ops, Fable, NHL 11 etc.)
