I think the best thing Russia could do at this point is to host their own games in direct competition with the Olympics, etc, and make it a doping friendly free-for-all. They could openly court pharmaceutical companies as sponsors. The TV ratings alone would crush their competition, because guys would be swimming entire lengths without breathing, hammer throwing into the parking lot, and running the 100m in seven seconds.

Not to mention the added attraction of potentially watching athletes drop dead mid-competition.

Wasn't there a stat at the 2018 World Cup that the Russian players averaged like 20% more distance ran than the next team? I remember watching their team and in the late stages of the game the players were looked as fresh as the 1st minute.

No doubt in my mind there were shenanigans.
And people were super impressed as if it wasn't exposed basically months before that they had a significant state sponsored doping program.
People have no memories.

PED's in hockey is the rock no one really wants to turn over. Dick Pound (still a ridiculous ####ing name, go by Richard dude) got a lot of vitriol when he brought it up a decade ago. Rightfully so in some respects, but his 30% prediction was probably closer than some people would want to know.

Why limit it to doping...full fledged Genetic Alteration of the species is the way to go. I want to see Shark man absolutely fly thru the swimming part of the Triathalon and try to eat the other competitors while doing it.
Don't kid ourselves..Russian scientists and many others already have tried this.

lol. Of course it won't stick. WADA already made it clear that the IOC can repeat the OAR farce from 2018.
I guess I’m not of the popular opinion that OAR is a farce.
For those individual athletes who didn’t partake in doping and weren’t part of the systematic coverup, they should be allowed to compete. Not their fault they are from Mother Russia.
