Black Panther is now the highest grossing superhero film domestically of all time. Think it'll hold the title into the summer? Or is Infinity War destined to eclipse it?

Certainly - all the new fans that came out for BP, will join the core fans that want to see IW.

Well given the demographics I think there was a huge chunk of audience that went to BP that didn't go to any of the other Marvel movies, no way to know if they'll come back for IW. It looks like Marvel is trying to coax them in though with how heavily they showed Black Panther and the Wakanda bits in the IW trailer

I think it's a given that IW will have one of if not the biggest opening weekends of all time, it'll have to be good to prevent word of mouth from sinking it after that like the DC movies

When adjusted for inflation, Black Panther is still behind The Avengers, Dark Knight and Spider-Man.

That's quite the inflation number. Pretty much every calculator is putting it at around 675M. Especially considering that is included money earned in October of 2012. Seems like the number has been inflated....

I've said it already in this thread, but unless the movie reviews poorly, I think it's going to crush Black Panther. It might take a run at Force Awakens honestly.

I saw Black Panther again last night and I liked it WAY more the second time. I thought it was good, not great when I saw it opening weekend, but now I'd probably say it's somewhere just outside my top 5 superhero movies.
