They are good as well. First time trying them I had the dog waiting outside for me.

I had the regular burger the first time I went there and it wasn't something that I would go out of my way for. When we went there years ago, we didn't know it was a 40 minute wait for the stuffed burgers and so we went with regular and, unless they changed something since Jiri and his burger buddies went, I don't think I would go there for a non-stuffed burger.

To qualify a bit more, the regular burger is definitely better than a fast food burger, but not say, Dairy Lane or Flipp'n or the like.

So this burger is a thing in Sydney. It is called the Blame Canada and contains a 200g beef pattie, maple glazed streaky bacon, American cheese, poutine & maple aioli.

Spoiler!

I love the Aussie take on Canadian cuisine is to add poutine and make everything maple flavoured

Re:Grub was really good. I'm not a huge milkshake kinda guy, but they had some pretty good looking ones there. I'd say it would be a really great place to bring a family to be honest.

So this is going to happen tomorrow:

Local Lacombe place, Cilantro & Chive.

The burgers are supposed to be good.

How can you even eat that? Too cumbersome.

It helps to take it off the glass first.

Yeah, if you eat the glass first you're going to have a bad time.

My kids bought me a burger stuffing press. Works pretty decent, but should be no problem by hand. Keep the two sides fairly thin so it cooks through ok, with a single pocket in the middle. Once the burger halves are together give it a squeeze to make sure the sides are sealed. From what I remember, I use 2.5 - 3 oz of ground beef for each side and maybe 1-2 tsp of filling. Usually cheese of some kind with bacon pieces, some bbq sauce, chilies, etc.

Can confirm. You eat it with two hands just like any other double cheese burger. Was delicious and the Caesar was like dessert. Would eat again, great little place.

Could become a new pre-game hotspot.
Ended up going there yesterday and had the stuffed burger. Definitely did not take 40 mins for the burger. Pretty damn good burger. I never made it out to the older location but from the sounds of it this is much bigger. I got talking to them and they are looking forward to the start of the Flames season, they say free parking for the game if you come in and eat prior (have 30 stalls during the day which doubles to 60 after 5pm).

It will be interesting to see if they can cope with a big surge before a game.

Edit: Probably should mention that me and the mrs tried the stuffed pulled pork that they won an award for, and the stuffed mac and cheese. Both were really good. Probably made the mistake of upgrading the fries to the poutine. Way too much food.

Had it for lunch today myself with a work friend. Took about 20 minutes from order to burger on the table. Was a great burger, had the Bacon mac n Cheese burger with poutine and friend had the stuffed jalapeno popper burger with poutine. The poutine was great, but yeah, with the burger, way too much food. Definitely will be going back again to try the others!

Wait I was there as well today.....

I actually didn't have the burger, I feared I would fall asleep on the drive back down to Dead Rear.

I had a Fried Chicken burger with Gouda and Bacon.

It was very good.
