Darn. Was hoping he'd be our #7D, but gets a bigger role with the Canucks I guess.

I hated that he got played ahead of Kylington. Dumb acquisition by Tree, dumb lineup selection by Peters.
Smell ya later, Oscar.

I wonder if the Flames will go with Stone as the 7th dman or someone else.

i thought he did a decent job when called upon.
lots of talk he was acquired because Kylington was going as part of the zucker deal, but that fell through.
i want to see Kylington to get more time for sure this year...which is one of the reasons i am not against trading Brodie and to a lesser degree hamonic
decent 7, with ability to play 6 when necessary

He was a little slow, which I guess is OK when he's in the press box.

The Canucks we're after Nemeth but he signed with Detroit , so i guess this was plan B.
I liked him since he was with the Kings... and he's a Swede, hell fit right in.
His direct competition as a 7th guy is Biega.

Didn’t mind the limited showing we had with him towards the end of last season. Bucks are really revamping their defense in a big way.

Was never a huge fan. Kind of shows how impossible it will be to move Stone as seems any team could have signed Fantenberg for under $1 million.

I was also pretty underwhelmed with him and didn’t really get the appeal of bringing him back. I agree that we’re stuck with Stone and he’s a better #7 in my opinion (other than cost).

Happy he's moved on. I didn't think the Flames were any where near as effective with him in the lineup over Kylington.

Darn, I actually thought he played decent, but just not ahead of Kylington and Valimaki.
Still has the best last name in the league.

He was the very definition or replacement level player. He may have come in handy if the team made a late playoff push and needed depth but not a guy you need to carry around for the regular season.

Which is exactly what his intended use will be with the Nucks. He's projected to go to Utica and be an injury call-up.
