2019 CFL season

It’s not ratings. It’sbecause they have too many programs to show. I believe each channel is the “primary” channel, except TSN2, for a different region.

Figure skating is on the primary TSN channel, which is for BC and Alberta, likely because it’s in Kelowna. TSN3 is the Saskatchewan/Manitoba TSN channel and is showing the Riders. TSN4 is Ontario and is showing the Raptors game. TSN5 is Ottawa and Maritimes, which showed F1 earlier today and makes sense given the French population and F1’s popularity there. It’s showing CFL now which would be on every channel if it weren’t for other competing programs.

Questionable 3rd down gamble by the Riders gives the ball back to the Eskimos around midfield.

Yeah it’s not advertised or anything. Sometimes you can tell when CFL (or whatever) is on every channel but the commercials are different depending on the feed. My understanding is that if you have basic cable and only get 1 TSN channel, you’d get the primary channel.

So viewers in Sask get this game and miss the figure skating and Raptors. But if you’re in Edmonton you’re stuck watching figure skating.

I can’t imagine it’s an issue for most people though, except in some rural areas. Pretty much everyone has access to the bigger cable packages nowadays.

So in the really unlikely event of Saskatchewan losing both their remaining games, and Calgary losing against BC, does that mean Winnipeg hosts the West final?

Does Winnipeg have the tie-breaker against Saskatchewan? If so, then I think that would be correct.
