I'm rooting for Ian again and I almost forgot how much Memphis gets on my nerves.
So nice to have it back in all it's cheesy glory

I saw this thread and thought about how little I cared but then I saw it on last night and it was nice to have it back in all it’s cheesy glory. Hope it’s a fun season.

Agreed, glad to have some normalcy back. And kudos to the production team for pulling it off in a quarantine situation

I'm not familiar with Janelle Pierzina, missed the intros, spent the remainder of the show thinking she was Kathryn Dunn wondering how loose they were being with the definition of All Star.

Gotta love the strategies the first couple weeks "let's make a 14 person alliance!"

Aussies do it right, their masterchef is much better than any other countries as well

FWIW I didn't realize there was an Aussie version anymore.
I thought it had been cancelled (by the PM of all people) for morality issues after a turkey slap incident..
Checked it out, not quite right. I left Aus in 2008, BB returned in 2012.

2006 alleged sexual assault controversy

On 1 July 2006 two housemates, Michael Cox (using the alias Ashley for the show) and Michael Bric (using the alias John), were removed from the house for allegedly sexually assaulting, "Turkey slapping" female housemate, Camilla Halliwell,[37] in a season of the series that had already attracted significant controversy. Following the incident the live feed was temporarily replaced by an old UpLate update of the housemates completing their football task, continuously looped[citation needed], and the forums on the Big Brother website were removed. Queensland Police were shown the relevant footage, but opted not to conduct a criminal investigation.[38] Subsequent to this incident former housemate Rita Lazzarotto reported that she had been subjected to a similar incident during her time in the Big Brother house in the 2005 series.[39]

I'd be in for a pool.
Is it just me or does Tyler kind of look like Carrot Top?
Seems like the all stars from older seasons are somewhat aligning against the players in the newer seasons

Cody essentially put up the two people he should have put up in the first place as Kevin and Keesha were the easy first week targets. Not sure why he would target Kayser and Janelle first week as his wishy washy meetings with the household has probably made him a target next week.

I can't believe Memphis managed to bully half the house into wasting their Safety Suite key. Also with Dani, Nicole F, Tyler, and Enzo not using their keys it has to be fairly obvious to the rest of the house there's an alliance there when Nicole A. is put up specifically because she did not use her key.

I love the picking have nots. That’s a good addition. I like this cast. No one is the least bit annoying and if they are BB hasn’t shown it.

Oh boy was I wrong about that (well... half wrong since I predicated it on "if she can get through the first few weeks"). Barring a Kayser/Janelle HoH she be gone next week.
It even might be better for the show if she goes (which is a shame because Janelle is good TV). I'm getting BB12 vibes in that the House was so distracted by getting out one member of a duo, Rachel, that they let the true power consolidate without challenge.

Memphis is so bad at BB that he’s entertaining. He reminds me of Matt/Raven.

It's early but this season is giving me BB19 vibes, with everyone following Cody/Paul except for a duo (Janelle/Kaysar, Jessica/Cody)
Memphis is in true villain mode, the sleeveless denim vest he was rocking in this episode confirms it.

If an outsider wins HOH tomorrow that alliance is going to crumble. Nicole and Memphis are both weak links.

Blah, Memphis is the worst. I almost forgot what a knob he was the 1st time around. My one remaining somewhat realistic wish is that Memphis goes out on an Ian HoH so Ian can have "Renegade Killer" on his BB legacy.
I think they can basically write a check for Cody with a 5 and four 0 and just leave some space to see whether you need to add another zero. He's basically covered with everyone in the house except the House scapegoats (Kayser and Janelle) and Kevin who ain't gonna win ####. He can spend the next two weeks relaxing and then another month hustling for jury votes before he'll need to do any actual work.

Gee Keyser and Janelle, BB let’s you go last in a timed comp with points. That’s a massive, massive advantage. And yet somehow you both failed. You deserve to go home.
