Not a great start as Felix is broken in his opening service game.

Zverev serving for the opening set at 5-2. Felix is playing okay, just isn't winning the big points and as a result is down two breaks.
Edit: Back-to-back double faults by Zverev and Felix is serving at 3-5

Big hold there by Felix to stay on serve in set 2. Still making too many unforced errors however.

Felix in deep trouble as Zverev breaks for the 4th time today.
Edit: Well, that's likely it, Felix had two break point chances to get back on serve and couldn't cash in. Zverev isn't even playing great today, but Felix is helping him out when he needs it most.

Zverev takes it 6-3 6-3. Felix still looking for that first ATP title.

lol - The great thing about these tourneys in Russia and Germany (combined with me living on the left coast) is that they are usually over and it's still quite early in the day for me. Of course, I'm usually dragging my butt around 9 pm.

Also, Rublev did take home the title in St. Petersburg defeating Coric 7-6 6-4. Up to #8 in the world rankings and has booked his spot for London.

They're having another tourney in Cologne this week - Denis will join Felix in the draw. Milos is travelling to Belgium to play in the European Open in Antwerp.

Didn't McAvi hang out with Shapo a couple of years ago at the French Open, resulting in 2 years of stalled development?
if Felix spends any more time with "Mr. Hart", I expect he'll hit a record number of aces and winners his next match, but somehow still lose.

Looking at the draw this week in Cologne, Felix has a darn good chance at making the final. The toughest player in his half of the draw is Diego Schwartzman. Shapo is in the top half of the draw and is likely on a collision course with Zverev.

Watching a little of the Sandgren - PHH match and maybe it's the attire that Sandgren is wearing, but he looks like he's been enjoying a few too many schnitzels in Cologne.
Edit: PHH just sent him packing in three sets.
