Ferly with another goal (6), this on the PP.

Great shot off the post and in from the slot. 2-0 Carolina over Detroit.

Carolina are manhandling Detroit, it's like 35-9 in shots right now. They're a really fun team to watch. Detroit is junk this year.

This version of Detroit is a low-level AHL calibre team.

They suck......epically bad.

Just had to get rid of the coach that was holding them back!

Ferland was streaky and inconsistent. Maybe this was the boot he needed to get over that?? Good for him, but I'm far more worried about what Adam Fox becomes.

He wasn't gonna sign with the Flames so what difference does it make?

Very nice to see Ferly lighting it up in Carolina. Him and Aho have chemistry.

Not sure if anyone else caught it. But during the NBC broadcast of the Flyers vs Ave game Keith Jones was asked if the MacKinnon line is the most dominant line in the NHL. He said it's up there but said that he would consider them in the mix for the best line along with the Bergeron line or the Monahan line!!! This was an American broadcast, no plug here, actual consideration for being an elite offensive force. Woot!!!

Fox claimed at Hurricanes development camp this wasn’t true. And I think if you read Trelivng’s comments carefully he doesn’t say this either. Clearly the Flames were nervous about signing him because we went back to school after they thought they were close.

He didn't flat out say Fox said he wasn't going to sign, but the quote was "strong, strong concerns" about their ability to sign Fox.
