Default Did the new iPhone update mess up anyone else's phone?

I am extremely disappointed in apple... This is absolutely messed up. I have an iPhone 5 and decided to update to 6.1.2. Holy crap what a big mistake that was! My battery would literally last 2 hours on idle and then just die. My usage and standby times were both the same and did not vary. I decided to do a hard restore and update the phone like new.. Still nothing. I then googled the issue again... And tried one of 5 potential solutions all at the same time and I'm pleased to say I think one of them actually worked.. How do I know? My phone lasted throughout the night.. #### you apple.

Anyone else having any issues? O and also my voice control doesn't work at all now it's like I'm speaking another language... "Turn off alarm" responds with "should I play music" what a piece of #### device

No, in fact my battery life is better than ever. I get home with more than 70% left when it used to be around 50%. I don't know if it's because my usage has changed or not, but I'm happy.

The wifi on my 3GS messed up since the update. It won't search for wifi networks so I'm stuck on 3G. I think it also messed up something with the GPS because I tried to use Ski Tracks (tracks max speed, altitude, etc.) this past weekend and it didn't register anything.

No problems either. Take it in to the Apple Store, they probably will swap it out on the spot free of charge. Worth a shot.

Updated my 3GS (waiting to finally get out from under a contract). Since then it freezes more than before and is dropping calls more frequent. Browsing is quicker though. It is race to the fall when I can get off of Bell and their quarterly billing mistakes.

It's supposed to break it so you'll buy the new one when it comes out.

iPhone 4 when it first came out: Damn, this thing is lightning quick!
iPhone 4 now: I've seen plants grow faster than this thing moves.

but yet somehow Android manufacturers get #### on by iPhone users because they don't update their older devices, precisely because of performance issues

They get #### on by Android devs more than anything. OS fragmentation on Android devices is an epidemic. It's one of the single biggest things stopping Android from completely dominating the smartphone market.

Do you use exchange?

I had bad battery draw and what I did was remove my exchange account then reset network connections. After that re-added my exchange account and everything has been good since.
