'Hawk defense has been abysmal, Ward has had to stand on his head to even keep the score as close 4-1. They Bolts are around 45 SOG through 2.
Bolts had an NHL record 35 SOG in the 2nd.

What a shocker, the Ducks getting outshot severely again and leading. Their season only lasts as long as Gibson is healthy, he's keeping them in every game. I think they're easily the biggest "pretender" team thus far in the early season.

Wow, Tampa had 55 shots on goal.
Ward allowed 5 goals, yet still had 90.7%

Awesome, back to back solid wins to come home from a 5 game Western trip 3-2. We always have this early California trip and have recently bombed it to put the whole season behind. To come back with a winning record is great! The team looks solid. It’s going to take some more consistency to be a playoff team, but I think they’ll be in the mix.

The Ducks have now lost 4 of their last 6 games.
The Flames now have the best winning percentage in the division.

What the heck was added in all the water bottles for the visiting teams? It was Miller time for the Ducks even though they lost to the Sabres. Miller looked he was the only player on the ice for Anaheim that was moving, the rest of his team were at times a bunch of sitting Ducks. The Sabres fired 45 shots on goal, Miller stopped 41 of them. Okposo had 2 points and Buffalo had 2 PPGs.
The Lightning with their record setting shot total (33 shots) in the 2nd period was the definition of a shooting gallery. It was rapid fire open season on Cam Ward. Like thefoss1957 said, Ward stood on his head. That was allstar, Vezina, Conn Smythe quality goaltending. Point, Kucherov, and Hedman simply crushed the Bhawks. The funny thing is that the shots in the 1st period were 17-12 in favour of Chicago. Both teams combined for 91 shots on net! It was 55-36 for the Bolts.

It was Miller who was in net for the Ducks against the Sabres (his former team).
