I love it so far too. Screw the haters!

Disenchanted started out at a solid 5 but ended at a 7, the last few episodes were quite good.

Ozark Season 2 is starting out great. While not as good as Breaking Bad, it's in the same vein and really good in its own right.

1) Watched Ozark S1 Ep1 last night. We really enjoyed it. Jason Bateman is the Director, EP and is in almost every scene. The guy must have been exhausted at the end of the season.
2) Watched Den of Thieves with Gerard Butler. I liked it. Fast paced and lots of action. Don't judge me.

We're on episode 8 of season 2...this show is really good. Great writing, and it's tense pretty much non-stop. I feel like it deserves more credit.

Yeah, Ozark is great. I think it was voted the best new show last year somewhere.

Meanwhile, the new Bojack trailer:

This looks cool, though is it just me or does the trailer frame rate look super low? EDIT: Apparently that's an artistic choice. It's super annoying IMO, I hope I get used to it.

Netflix is doing The Witcher! Apparently Henry Cavill has been confirmed for it too, although they haven't confirmed his character yet. Some people are pretty sure it's Geralt. I'm optimistic, but really I'm so excited for this one. We need more fantasy on TV.

Watching The Horn, a documentary about SAR teams in the Swiss Alps. Pretty interesting. Some of the spots these guys have to go into are underwear stain inducing.

Seems like Ozark will be their new House of Cards. Its really good. I found myself getting bored at small spots in certain episodes but thats fine.

Crushed through seasons 1 and 2 in short order.

I'm actually struggling to get through the second season, it's really dull. I liked the first season

The world simply needs more Norm MacDonald. It's amazing to me that he is not more critically acclaimed in the business, and rarely gets the respect and acknowledgement he deserves. I'm sure he is within comedy circles, but you don't hear the praise as often.

Flat out, nobody constructs and then delivers a joke like Norm.

Theres is a longer build to the payoff moments. But those payoffs are pretty darned good i think.
