This was my daily CAD/BIM workstation for 18 months (Jan. 2016 - July 2017) has been my spare home computer since. To be honest most of the time I used it on the docking station so it was never a concern for me.

I would say its typical for a workstation ~ 3 hours depending on what kind of work you are doing, maybe a little more if you are just surfing the net and not doing 3D modeling.
