Question Laptop Cooling Pads

I use my laptop pretty much every day and I'm thinking I should probably get one.

Any suggestions?

I bought this one at walmart for less than $30. It works well if you keep your laptop on your lap. On a flat surface it's not that great.

For comfort or because you think your laptop runs too hot? Laptop CPU's are good for quite a high operating temperature, its OK for your laptop to get warm (actually its a good thing, it means the unit is dissipating the heat the hard drive and CPU are generating)

It's not that I think it runs too hot, I just think that if there is a way to keep the laptop at a lower temperature, it cant hurt and hopefully it will last longer.

It is also a good idea warranty wise. You windows and laptop serial numbers are on the bottom of the laptop and if you constantly type with it on your lap you can wear these off.

I love my lap cooler.

Just cool it off by submerging it in water every half an hour. Water cooling is supposed to be better than air cooling anyway.
