the fact that TJ came out and apologized to the team shows me character and character earns you a place when your not the greatest player in the world.
I think we lose this game but show progress and determination. 4-2 with Columbus grabbing an empty netter.
I'm going to pick Colborne for one of the goals and Monahan for the other. I grankly don't care about Columbus

Sean Monahan took a shot off his ankle in morning skate. Assisted off ice..will check on status. #Flames

No. But i would put SOB on the PK over Brodie. That was a Hale/Pardy like performance he gave last nite in the 3rd period.
By your own admission you only watched one period of the game. Brodie was fine last night. Some good decisions, some bad, but nothing near what you keep implying.

he was terrible on the pk. Getting man handled. losing the puck and on the game tying goal kicking the puck to the caps. hahahaha that was really bad.
But whatever. 1 bad game at the start of the year can be dismissed.
ummm who is left to play in this game? Stempniak, Cammi, Stajan and maybe Monahan out. That sucks.
To bad because Columbus is the kind of team that Calgary can beat at any time.
Really? Columbus is far better than some give them credit for. Vezina winner in net, far better top six than ours and a more stable d core than they've had before. I'm more worried about them than Washington

Its not so much the team, but its the style they play. The Columbus's, Phoenix, Nashville ect play a more 200' game and don't rely on high end play making. The high end play making teams are going to be a bigger problem than they have been years past and they were not to great against them in the past 2-3 years.
