Chucky, Monahan & BSD all with confidence boosting games. Hopefully this turns things the right direction for all 3.

Glad to see Monahan pot one tonight. Well deserved as he looked very good tonight. Hopefully he can get on a roll here.

Extra bonus to put an end to Matthews 16 game scoring streak!

Bennett with 3 goals in 4.5 games while playing alongside Sean and Johnny.

Goaltending was the difference tonight. BSD delivered!

33% of our wins come on the backs of shutouts by our downright amazing duo of Markstrom and Rittich. So awesome.

Not out of the woods by a long shot, but at least they pulled the compass out of their pocket.

Solid effort, and awesome for Ritter. He deserved for something good to finally happen.

I agree that Rittich was great tonight but this was a total team effort. 7/7 on the PK against the leagues top PP that was firing at almost 40%? Including a 5 on 3 of over a minute and half?

No complaints tonight.

Lost for words...

I don’t know if watching them play this well actually angers me more or brings delight.

I’m happy ... yet confused ...

So did Ward finally draw up some weak side D support for the Flames breakouts?

Or did a bunch of the good players on the team actually show up and play with some mental focus?

I’m going with the latter. And some nice saves by Rittich too.

So happy for BSD. Happy for the team too. Onward and upward, hopefully.

They connected with passes, and when they dumped they played hard to the puck. Won a lot of battles.

On Monahan's goal PP1 was finally moving themselves better. Now if they can move the puck quick and find the seams those Lindholm chances will appear.

The entry on PP1 has to come up more in the middle of the ice then kick it wide when they collapse in to defend the middle attack.

A lot of things to like and they can improve some things too. They have to have that crispness. In the first they used the middle and weak side to break out and it was up on the tape quick.

When they skate the get in that zone and it flows.

BIG SAVE DAVE!

That was an amazing performance by our forgotten goalie.

Great games by the PKers all night long, awesome 5-3 kill by Backlund, Tanev and Giordano. Tanev played 8:52 shorthanded minutes tonight! The guy is a machine.

Matthew Tkachuk was the Tkachuk we love. Lindholm came to battle, happy to see Monahan score, he was good tonight and deserved it. Captain Giordano deserves a big shout out. Solid all night at both ends of the rink.

Good for Sam to pot that goal and then call it the easiest goal of his career because that empty net miss was one of the worst shots that I've ever seen. He obviously couldn't believe he was getting an easier one and declined.

So happy for Rittich. The Flames tried to give his shutout away multiple times with stupid undisciplined penalties and he said simply said fork that. Again, really was an amazing performance by Big Save and the penalty killers.
