Man, I just love the challenges for Survivor AU! The finale was really good and the winner’s speech was probably the most well laid out and articulate speech I’ve seen. After it was said, there wasn’t much dispute or even wiggle room for the jury to push for another player.
Great season!

and the jury was reasoned and kept their heads on straight. Great questions and the vote went where it should have as opposed to the American drama queens. Really enjoyed the finale and how they simply brought in the families right on location. Had better feels.

Yep, I wasn't rooting for the person who won and was screaming at my TV for them to get them out the last few nights...but they played everyone and really there was no other choice in the end.
honestly its a good (especially compared to US) season but the previous two of AU were even better if anyone is wants more and can avoid spoilers they are out there.
Alright, I will shut up about Survivor AU now
Go Daniel! try not do throw out your shoulder again tripping on soft sand

Still not a very interesting episode.
Mike: Has a clever idea...immediately scraps it. Though I guess having his vote back did make Tribal easier/faster.
Drea: Thinks she's the only woman to ever find an Immunity Idol, apparently. Except Maryanne found her first/faster...

Yep, bit of a blah episode. Couldn’t help but laugh at Jonathan’s frustration with his tribe - especially during the challenge.
-The beware idols are all now full power and Mike made sure everyone knew he loved soccer.
-Jonathan once again saves his tribe from imploding on challenges.
-Drea thinking that women can’t find idols - apparently hasn’t seen this show before…
Daniels “bad” shoulder leads to dino7c’s and GirlySports demise.
Current Standings:
1. KootenayFlamesFan - Omar Zaheer / Swati Goel
2. transplant99 - Jonathan Young / Marya Sherron
3. csnarpy - Mike Turner / Maryanne Oketch
4. Fuzz - Hai Giang / Lydia Meredith
5. trackercowe - Lindsay Solashewich / Drea Wheeler*
6. dino7c - Swati Goel / Daniel Strunk
7. Weitz - Tori Meehan / Chanelle Howell
8. GirlySports - Daniel Strunk / Jenny Kim
9. Yoho - Zach Wurtenberger / Zach Wurtenberger
10. Savardandjokinen - Rocksroy Bailey / Jonathan Young
11. calgarybornnraised - Marya Sherron / Omar Zaheer
12. Cheese - Maryanne Oketch / Mike Turner
13. White Tiger - Jenny Kim / Hai Giang
14. jroc - Lydia Meredith / Tori Meehan
15. Regulator75 - Chanelle Howell / Lindsay Solashewich
16. surferguy - Romeo Escobar / Romeo Escobar
17. bigtmac19 - Drea Wheeler* / Rocksroy Bailey

Tori might be the worst player I have ever seen on survivor (probably some recency bias here) but jeeze her game play and social game is beyond atrocious

Ouch, back to back weeks
Had high hopes for Swati but the second I saw Danny in action I knew he had no hope. What a disaster his entire game was.
Why assume a merge so soon and base your gameplay on it entirely? There is always a tribe swap, 3 tribes to 2...duh.

I didn't really understand the vote with Mike's name thrown in. Why did they go to a second round? Fear Daniel had something? But then Chanelle would have been the backup.

It was Chanelle, maybe she missed the memo. That vote could’ve potentially been bad for her.

So if Chanelle knew she was at risk, and knew Daniel was the obvious choice, why vote Mike? I suspect we missed some stuff..

That episode did not have to be 2 hours for a single tribal council. First time in a while that 4 separate players all had votes against them. I definitely thought Jonathan was going home but im glad to see him fight another day

Looks like Chanelle and Tori were totally left out of the decision to get rid of Lydia. I was actually a little surprised to see Hai vote for her, it wasn't necessary. But I guess she won't be on the jury, so...bye!

Definitely thought Jonathon was gone and maybe Maryanne is a bit more strategic than we thought, she just has a good case of ADHD.
- The Applebees merge comes back and Rocksroy smashes the hour glass thus creating a little chaos.
- The alliance of 8 scramble to turn on their own
- Omar flips the Jonathan vote
- Hai’s declaration of “I got your back Lydia” doesn’t really work out.
Fuzz & jroc take first hits as Lydia becomes the sacrificial lamb of the newly formed “Alliance of 8”.

1. KootenayFlamesFan - Omar Zaheer / Swati Goel

I thought the 2 hours was good, it was nice being able to see all the strategizing and knowing why everyone stood where they stood. Especially when a big complaint of last season was that they left too much of the story out. Omar did a very good job shifting the vote away from his original tribe members.
I think Hai really tried to save Lydia but when he couldn’t get enough votes to save her, he decided to roll with his new alliance.
It’s unlikely but I would like to see Jonathan and Mike align with each other and go to the end.

So someone explain to me how Romeo making fun of and imitating Jonathan and Mike's bromance, going to look at the sun together, talking about being big fit guys, is any better than if they were sitting there imitating gay stereotypes?
I thought that episode was great. One of the better episodes out of the last few seasons. This has definitely been more enjoyable than last season with overall much better players.
I enjoyed watching all of the bonding parts between all the different groups of people. It really does seem like a dynamic bunch. It was also fun watching all that come crumbling down and people going into full survival mode for tribal.
I did honestly think Jonathon was going home. I don't think there is anyway that he wins unless he can win out in immunity, but I like Mike's game and his odds. Overall though right now I really like the way Omar is playing. If he can pull out a few challenges hes got a legit shot at this. He is probably who I will be rooting for the most.
I do have a soft spot for Mary Ann to. She is unapologetically herself, and I really respect that. It takes guts. I just know that if I was on her tribe she would be right on my nerves, lol.

Shockingly not even one vote for Jonathan, the guy is a beast and is somehow keeping a low profile. Even though I didn’t pick him, I’m definitely rooting for the big guy. Also, Mike sure did show his tact by quickly turning the vote without placing a target on him.
- Romeo goes into full panic mode
- Drea obtains yet another advantage
- Probst is the absolute worst hardballer when bargaining
Channelle becomes the first jury member which gives Weitz & Regulator75 their first hits.
