Can't help but disagree with you that Telus Sky fades into the mass of the buildings around it. Total looker and game-changer for our downtown

I wasn't thrilled when the change was made from white to black on Telus Sky, but I think it will stand out and look great. Regardless of colour the shape of building is going to catch your attention.

The Telus Sky Tower will be the best looking building in our urban skyline. Brings the look and feel of it far into the future, IMO.

That is a very familiar view - are you in Ariva or Biscuit Block?

I used to live in Arriva, but that is not my view anymore. This is actually from one of the Guardian towers. Not my photo.

Good for PBA. Great local developer with a solid reputation. They've been working on this for along time to happy to see it come together for them.

Telus Sky will be a magnificent development for Calgary. Colliers is the listing agent for the property which has been really exciting for our office. Still a lot of space to lease up there though...

Does Telus plan to occupy floors 4-10 or that has yet to be decided and someone else picked up the space?

Telus is in the low rise floors (4-10) and 11-27 are available for lease. About 285,000 SF in total.

I can confirm Telus is 4-10 for their offices. Working on these right now.

Who has leased the top (59 and 60th) floors? For Telus execs or some other company?

I'm pretty sure that's them, can't say for sure though.

Nothing promotes morale like having the executives on 59/60 and the peons on 4-10. They should probably make anyone coming up for meetings take the stairs, and go through a very short door on their way in...

Top two floors also belong to Telus. There is still some debate on how they are going to utilise them. I haven't seen the plans yet, but I expect to see them by the end of the month.

I thought modern trends are for executives to take the closest floors to the bottom do they can go in and out quicker?

Yeah, I thought that was a by product of 9/11.

Definitely a need looking building. I wonder how much it would cost to live there.

Did they stick with the original plan that they would all be rental units? I'm sure the initial tenancy plan was to rely on all the O&G expat$, but I think they will have to rethink that.

According to the link above, 30 to 58 still say they would be executive rental suites.

The principal of the engineering firm I used to work for in early 90's had his office next to the reception and washrooms. He liked saying that nobody should feel comfortable asking for a better office, because he already has the worst one in the company.
