Default GDT threads are HUGE

Hey team. Mentioned in the last one and Cheese responded so I assumed they would adjust, so I'm guessing I've changed a setting somewhere. On my phone the images adjust to size, and I feel like they used to on my computer as well, but lately havent been. It's just been the past few months I've noticed.

I have a 1080p 15" screen, so it seems weird that anything shouldn't be fitting on it. Any suggestions?

I'm not sure if there is a setting, but yeah the browsers usually resize the images to fit inside the window width. What browser are you using? And what is your screen resolution?

I tried the CP Dark style and pictures stopped resizing. I switched back and it worked again. Did you change styles, Coach?

I did change to dark style. I like not having a bright white screen so I’d prefer to stay this way.

I use Chrome and my screen res is 1920x1080. Looks like it's probably an issue with the Dark Mode. I have noticed it's the same on my phone. Is it fixable?

I'm sure it's fixable, just not sure how. I don't know a whole lot about HTML/CSS/Javascript these days.

So does that mean it’s something I have to be doing on my end? Getting pretty rough especially since most of what I scroll is GDTs and the politics/Russia invasion. And they are chock full of these big images. Doesn’t adjust on the phone either.

I do a lot of viewing at night so I’d rather not change it back to white mode. Any suggestions here?

I took a quick look, and if you add this line to the end of the dark style's css (comes across as style-9da96d00-00009.css to my local browser):

Code:
div[id^=post_message_] img { max-width: 100%; height: auto; }
that should fix the image resizing issue. The line should be safe to add since it is the last line in the non-dark style's css.

Image before the change
Spoiler!

Image after the change
Spoiler!
