I'm not sure I follow your complaint. This thread is for movies in general, not just the latest releases.
Even then, most of the movies that get brought up are new, but I always appreciate people recommending classic or hidden gems
Edit: Oh, you meant the dedicated thread for Wakanda Forever specifically. I haven't read through it yet, so I'm not sure what the issue is. My mistake.
There’s only like 3 posts discussing the movie. The other 30 are people complaining about comic book movies in general.
General reaction seems positive though. Similar to reviews on other sites.

Oh gotcha, I'm seeing it tonight so have been avoiding spoilers.
I think comic book movies are what they are for the most part. I've seen almost all of them and really like a few... but have enjoyed almost all of them. They're never going to be on my best of the year lists or anything, but they're obviously going to keep getting made as long as they're profitable.
Just watched the new Jurassic Park movie. Wtf was that? The main plot point wasn't even about dinosaurs, it was about locusts. Also, what could possibly make people think allowing meat eating dinosaurs to free roam was a good idea? The cast was clearly calling it in too. How could they possible mess this up that bad.
Somebody decided to write their politics into a dinosaur movie and did a really #%^* job of it.
I was baffled at how #%^* that movie ended up being.
…I mean, you’ve got dinosaurs and you write that? Yikes.
Largely because I agree with them. That movie....that was like a film school case study in 'How to screw up a movie that should be impossible to screw up.'
I gotta tell you, I genuinely spent most of that movie laughing my ass off it was so preposterous.
We're talking about genetically engineered dinosaurs, in a franchise that has an almost unlimited pool of Goodwill....you have to know that my 'belief' is as suspended as its going to get and yet still that wasnt enough.
It was so bad I wanted to take notes!
Everyone, and I mean everyone, phoned that movie in.

I watched the 2018 Susperia.
It was good, if you're into surrealism.
I would like to watch the 1977 version, I have heard it is totally different.
It is in many ways, and also not in others. I love both. 2018 is very much in conversation with its predecessor. In a lot of ways, the new one is an essay on the first movie.

I really enjoy both versions of Suspiria but give a slight edge to the original. I haven't watched a lot of Italian horror but it's my favorite one, a great Gialo film and Argentos best movie.
I finally got around to watching Nightmare Alley what an excellent film. You could tell it was done by a master crafts man like a watch maker ensuring everything fit together perfectly. The sets, the acting, the dialogue all top notch, haven't seen the original but going to try watch it now. Huge recommend from me.

Finally watched Everything Everywhere All at Once, still not sure what I think about it overall but it was interesting and cool and different and had lots of cool moments, glad when stuff off the beaten path gets made.

Caught "Armageddon Time" this weekend, same director who did Ad Astra and the Lost City of Z which is very damn good. Simple story of a kid growing up and learning how the world works, incredible acting in this one with Jeremy Strong, Anne Hathaway and Anthony Hopkins, not to forget the 2 kids who were excellent.
Side note, Cineplex is out of control with the commercials, exactly 25 mins from the ticket time to when the movie started. 20 of those mins are pure commercials, f'ing garbage.
^Oh man, Lost City of Z was such an intriguing film. Slower paced, like a 70's film, but full of stuff that a real film nut can chew on. Not for everyone, but real cinephiles will love this movie.
