I'd be surprised if it's more than 3.5m AAV. I wonder if they're making the same mistake they made with Subban? I think Galchenyuk is going to bust out in a big way very soon.

2.8 is a good deal, but that could be almost tripled on his next deal if he reaches his potential.

This guy is a good hockey player and this was a good signing. Really picked up his game in the playoff's and even got them a couple game winners.
