I think the Liv thing is a big distraction for him.
He needs stop carrying the weight of being PGA's spokesman and just be a golfer again.

He now has the weight of that & the weight of his Augusta demons; its too much.

Koepka with a pretty big lead now. He used to say that the Majors were the only Tournaments he wanted to play. Liv pretty much let's him do this, and it's looking good for him this week.

Plus he is partnered with Tiger to start up their golf league which is another thing he probably doesn't need on his plate right now.

They stopped second round play and a lot of players look like they are pretty pissed with that decision. I don't really see anything going on that warrants a stoppage.

IMO Rory’s issue is rather unique to this tournament. He’s not knocking down other majors true, but he wants this one too bad.

Hughes was -4 through 13 today; having one of the best rounds of the day.
Hopefully he picks up where he was tomorrow.

They'll do what they can. With a small field and also only 50 making the cut, they can be quite flexible. And I saw a show once that Augusta has an incredible drainage system.

If the trees had fallen on a non Masters weekend would they have made a sound?

Didn't they play 3 somes on Sunday a few years back? If they do that they can get the entire field done in 8 hours on Saturday and Sunday if need be.

Yes, Tiger’s win in ‘19 was a threesome Sunday. Saturday looks to be lots of rain, but no lightning, so they should be able to play all day. Koepka hit the jackpot with his tee times regardless. He might not see a drop.

I’ve seen a lot of downed pine trees and that’s what the root balls usually look like. I guess that’s why I’ve seen a lot of them! They get wider as the trees get older but not much deeper

Being on a golf course messes with trees.

They don't need to go deep to get nutrients. Add in some wind and a significant amount of rain over the past months, this is what ends up happening.

Yup, they can play in rain, wind and cold. Pouring right now but they're getting back on schedule

Really heavy rain. Players are losing 50 yards on their drives. They look human! Tiger should make the cut unless Thomas holes this chip.
