The champions league so called 'playoff' spurs and city played 11 years ago is so beloved because it kept city out of the CL and delayed their 'project' by a few years
Also because david Bentley doused Redknapp in water, and harry had the look of murder in his eye

As I told Slava, Marina is going to sell the whole B team to Newcastle in January, and that should see them through - Barkley, Saul, maybe even Hudson-Odoi if SA coughs up some cash, etc...

Yeah and I still think that kind of thing is their likely option. Enough to stay up, and that’s about it. But it will be interesting to see if a manager of any prominence is interested at this point. Maybe the best could get is Eddie Howe? Someone will do the job, but it’s dicey because they’re going to have a rough 2.5 months before any reinforcements are coming. A lot of damage can be done by that point.

Nothing against Newcastle fans at all but I hope they do a QPR and go down and faceplant hard, for me it's nothing to do with the money, but that ownership are like a group of real life Bond villains.
Though it seems unlikely to happen in the long run, when you sort the ownership groups by wealth they are so far out in front of everybody else it's not even funny:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...football_clubs
Crazy to see, that at the other end of the table, Norwich's consortium of three owners is worth a total of 30 mil against Newcastle's 250B

That was BS man, 45 seconds of added, added time. Gallagher was down for 30 seconds but the whistle should have gone there once that last corner was cleared.

Sooo... top 3 is set. Now it is just a question of whether Brighton can hold off various pretenders for the last CL spot.

Whatever keeps Arteta at the wheel whilst Arsenal toil away as the mid-table club they are now is good with me.

I’m still holding out hope for Spurs. It’s a long shot, but maybe we can piece things together and crack the top four.

Well it’s Bruce for sure. I mean that’s not even up for debate. The only reason he didn’t get the axe immediately is because he had his 1000th game on Sunday.
Nuno has bought himself some time. Winning 5/8 PL games isn’t a manager you fire, despite my personal preferences.
And hopefully neither Ole or Arteta gets sacked. They’re doing great work and people need to trust the process. Sure, maybe Ole is a glorified PE teacher and Arteta best work was putting out the cones for Pep, but things are really coming together!
So, I guess that leaves Farke as the second manager to get sacked.

To be fair, taking the knee gets a mixed reception at the best of times in English football stadia.
