My wife says there are some good deals at Toy r Us that start tonight as part of their baby event.

I am looking for a deal on Bose soundtouch series speakers, but I am guessing I will be out of luck.

900 Piece Lego for $25. Order two and a single instant noodle for free shipping.

The gf grabbed one and I grabbed one.

This deal is slightly better than last years.

My wife and I grabbed a bunch of these. Christmas presents for some of our nieces and nephews and picked up a few on behalf of our friends. If we hadn't loaded up our own collection during last years sale we would have bought more. Can never go wrong with Lego as a present.

Read on RedFlagDeals that Costco will have the Vizio P55-E1 for $1299

https://www.costco.ca/Vizio-P55-E1-5...100363699.html

And the Sony XBR55X900E for the same

https://www.costco.ca/Sony-XBR55X900...100386621.html

$1899 for the 65 inch

People seem to be buying up the Sonys now though and then will return to the store to pricematch on Black Friday to ensure they get the TV at the price.

I'm kind of leaning towards the Vizio, not sure if the P is that much better than the M, I could probably get a 65 inch M for the same price as a 55 inch P.

Sharing my TV buying experience from last month:

-plasma goes up in smoke (literally, probably the main capacitor)
-It was still a great TV, I spent lots on it 10 years ago (around 5K), despite the price then it was a great TV, still had a great picture until it frizzed out.
-The TV we looked at, at 65" OLED, had retailed for 7K in the summer, last month was listed for 5999, and had a sale price of 3999
-Wife said she'd like to see if she could get a better deal. Fine. I thought the price was the price
-End result: 3200, and a 200 gift card given, for a net price of 3000.

That same TV is now on sale for 3999 again at Best Buy, I'd suggest the money is worth it if you get it for 3K.

To my surprise, you can still negotiate off the sale price even at Best Buy.

I just bought two LG 65" OLED B7 TVs. They were on sale for $3,000 at most stores, after being $4,000 for the last few months, and $6,000 when they first came out. I also saved another $240 by agreeing to pick them up at the local Visions. I was going to buy them from BestBuy, as they included a free wall mount, installation and set up, but that is excluded on today's sale. They also were going to charge me $50 for shipping and there wasn't a local pickup option.

I'm not going to bother upgrading my home theatre until my kids are older. I can't even remember the last time we sat down and watched a whole movie.

I'm looking for a laptop sale with decent specs to DJ/produce with, as well as hoping the Ableton Push 2 goes for at least 20-30% off.

This one might be overkill unless you're after a gaming laptop, but I just saw this on the ebay deals page:

MSI GS Series GS63VR Stealth

i7, 16gb ram, 128gb ssd + 1tb hdd, gtx 1060 6gb

Hey thanks for lookin' out.

Ya, that's definitely overkill. Looking to pay sub $1000, probably should've included that in the original post.

I'm in the same spot as Flash Walken. Laptops never last long enough to be worth paying more than $1k, which is incidentally why I need a new one.

I'm not in the same boat with kids but it'll still probably be a while before I do any major upgrading. I bought my plasma about 5 years ago and I outfitted my PC build with a video card that's optimized for 1080p because I knew I wasn't going to upgrade to 4K until my plasma dies or I have a good reason to buy one. May look into it when the next generation of consoles rolls around.

On another note, does anyone know is the Amazon U.S. site typically has Black Friday deals on Kindles?
