chicago needs to do what the eagles did and get some real targets before evaluating Trubisky. that has really helped Wentz get to the next level

Looking at scores, what happened to the Raiders? Box score makes it appear like Buffalo destroyed them.

Buffalo is good. The Raiders are average.

Looks like this Seahawks and Texans game is going to be a shootout.

Watson has thrown 277 yards to Hopkins and Fuller alone today so far. Crazy stuff.

He obviously still makes mistakes, but the athleticism is incredible. And his arm is waaay better than some experts feared ahead of the draft.

I should have skipped work to watch the Hawks game. It looks like a crazy finish. Looking at the possessions this is how the game ended:

-Texans with a 5 play TD drive
-Hawks with a 7 play TD drive
-Texans with a 72 yard TD on their 2nd play
-Wilson throws an interception and it's close to game over
-Texans needing one first down for the win go three and out
-Hawks with a 3 play game wining TD drive with 48, 18, and 19 yard passes
-Texans with one final shot give up a sack followed by an interception.

Crazy!

Outside of one Wilson run for 20 yards (he ended with 30),the other Seahawks runners had 17 carries for 3 yards.

Wilson career high 452 yards passing, the Texans secondary was terrible. Seattle defence gave up more big plays than used to.

Watson is pretty unlucky. That's three times no where he put at least 30 on the board and the Texas lost. Any other year and he's undefeated.

I cancelled DAZN a month ago as Shaw got NFL Sunday Ticket back. It appears that DAZN still has the exclusive rights to NFL RedZone which is unfortunate as I really like that but it's worth it to be able to see games live and in HD. I'm one of the biggest NFL fans there and a full season DAZN may have been enough to change my allegiance to the league. Just an awful experience. I can understand people in time zones where they can't watch live putting up with streaming but it makes absolutely no sense to make a country in the same time zones as the US not be able to watch the games live on cable. It's too bad Canada is a footnote in the US because this really should be a bigger news story as it's been an utter disaster.

Bears TE Zach Miller was apparently in danger of losing his leg after duplicating it yesterday. Yikes

Jack Del Rio is a rah rah coach and not an X & O's guy that will only take you as far as the coordinators under him tan elevate their positional groups. The 2016 Raiders team that went 12-4 sported a top 6 offense and bottom five offense. Who gets fired in the offseason? You guessed it the OC. So now the offense that was top 6 under Musgrave is bottom 5 under Downing, a guy that has never been an OC in his career. Meanwhile Ken Norton Jr's defense continues to be bad. The offense was always the only thing the Raiders had going for them and now it's bad the record indicates that it's simply a bad team.

looks like Jerry Jones wants a "fair shake" for Elliot, doesn't seem to think the system is fair, yet he didn't seem to care about the "unfair" system when the bounty gate and deflate gate issues were happening. These guys are something else.

Ugh, just heard that this morning, that's so awful. Even watching the replay was gross, poor guy. Hoping that doesn't happen

Ouch.. I couldn't believe the replay, and also the colour guy completely ignoring it, going off on some lame topic as the pbp guy is cringing in horror. Brutal commentary in this game (mostly by the colour commentator)

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Seattle has traded for OT Duane Brown, source tells ESPN. Brown is out of Houston and will go to Seattle

that's one that's been mentioned in the rumour mill for a while. Makes sense. I wonder if Graham goes the other way.

EDIT: nope.

Adam Schefter @AdamSchefter
Full trade: Seahawks traded CB Jeremy Lane, a 2018 5th-round pick and a 2019 second-round pick to Texans for OT Duane Brown, per sources.

Decent haul for the Texans, Seahawks are all in for the next year or two given the age of that defense, so a worthwhile gamble for them considering how abysmal their OLine has been.

Garoppolo has been traded to the 49ers for a second rounder. Kirk Cousins can't be thrilled.
