wranglers [GDT] Flames vs Rampage - Tuesday Jan 6 @ 5:00pm (MST)

Adirondack Flames (21-14-1-1) vs San Antonio Rampage (Florida Panthers) (19-11-3-0)

#45 - David Wolf
Wolf, an undrafted LW from Dusseldorf, Germany, signed as a free agent with the Calgary Flames in May of 2014. Prior to playing with the Flames, Wolf was with the Hamburg Freezers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga where he was the most penalized player for two of his last three seasons. His physical play has gotten him into trouble in Germany as he was suspended for 7 games, fined heavily and investigated for criminal assault after knocking out 6 teeth of an opponent's during a fight. He was later cleared of those charges. David has also competed with the German National Team playing in both the World Under 18 Championship in 2007 and the World Junior Championship in 2009. Wolf had previously been invited to the Toronto Maple Leafs development camp in 2012, however he was released without a contract offer. His passion for the game of hockey can be easily found as he has "Hockey Is My Life" tattooed on his arm.

There could be more some scratches or lineup shuffles as the game nears. The flu looks to be going through the room as guys are now being assigned their own water bottles.

Reinhart is the latest victim of it. He had yesterday's practice off as a "maintenance day" and returned this morning but will be out due to the illness.

Wolf-Elson-Van Brabant
Ferland-Knight-Hanowski

It's also being reported that Reinhart is injured, Setoguchi is injured, Sieloff is "unknown" and Stevenson, Vause and Gillies are all healthy scratches.

Diana Nearhos tweeted this morning that Reinhart was back.
And now he's injured?
Or is he just still out with the flu?

The PBP guy said that Reinhart had a maintenance day yesterday and returned to skate today, but would be out tonight.

I'd guess that's probably the flu. If it's bad enough they are issuing individual water bottles, it's probably a bad one.

Hanowski almost had a squeaker there. Hano tosses it on net as Ellis was moving across.

Ferland going to the box for high sticking. Flames to the PK. Rampage has a killer PP.

Ortio looking sharp so far as he's being tested now on this PP.

Rampage move the puck well and get themselves set up and start firing.

Flames PK needs to be sharp tonight to keep this streak going.

Wotherspoon with a shot from the point and the rebound just sat there and no one saw it.

The Rampage goalie doesn't look to good so far. Flames with only 3 or 4 shots, and he's fumbled 2 of them.

Last game the score was 7-6.

We are about 5 minutes into the 1st here and the teams are tied at 6-6 for shots.

Could be another wild ride tonight.

Both these teams are not afraid to get the puck on net, 8 minutes in it's been fast and furious for both sides

Both teams are doing a good job of playing well in the neutral zone. Lots of broken up plays for both teams resulting in rushes for the other team.

The ice looks like it's playing odd tonight too. Lots of bouncing pucks.

He needs some screening. He's having issues when seeing the puck, blind him and he will be completely handcuffed.
