Default GDT: Team USA vs Boston University. Fri Dec 19 5:30 MT

Yes I know it is a few days early, but thought I would put this out there so people know there is a free stream ahead of time.

On Friday Dec 19, the American WJC selection camp team will take on Boston University in an exhibition match.

The stream will be available here for free:
http://www.goterriers.com/collegespo.../?media=468320

Flames 2014 3rd round pick Brandon Hickey will play for Boston University this game.

This is an evaluation camp for Team USA and the coach has already announced a unspecified number of cuts will be made after this game: so a player who is a lock to make the team like Eichel may not play.

Roster for Team USA (again note that not all players will play):
http://worldjuniors.usahockey.com/pa.../701595-roster

Draft implications on Team USA's roster:
C Jack Eichel - consensus top 2 pick 2015 draft
C/RW Jeremy Bracco - potential 1st round pick 2015 draft
C/RW Auston Matthews - potential 1st overall pick 2016 draft
D Noah Hanifin - consensus top 3 pick 2015 draft
D Zach Werenski - potential top 10 pick 2015 draft
D Brandon Carlo - potential 1st round pick 2015 draft

so Eichel is going to play against his own team? That's pretty weird.

I thought Eichel plays for Boston College, not university?

I don't think Matthews is dressing for tonights game either.

EDIT: Anyone elses sound from the stream doubled?

Turn your stream volume down below half and you eliminate the doubling of the play callers.

Hickey solid defensively so far. He and his partner stand up Milano as he crossed the blue line

Hickey coughs up the puck on the blue line and Jack Eichel makes it 2-0. Again shorthanded

Praise for Hickey evaporates. Eichel scores another shorty just a few seconds apart.

Hanifin certainly looks like great. Clearly the best defenceman on the ice.

Hickey with another turnover that leads to an Eichel scoring chance, but BU makes the save

I've been drawn to Hanifin's play. Bouwmeester like with a tad more edge. He makes hits.

If the Flames do end up picking in the 2nd half of the 1st round, I still think Carlo is a good option.
