I do want to live in this world thread

We have I don't want to live in this world. In a lot of ways we've got quite a few negative threads, "Am I the a$$$ole" etc.


Now I'm pretty close to the I think on the whole people are angry, predatory, butt holes who will take advantage of every situation. But once in a while, people surprise me. So I wanted a thread for good news, stories where people do good to great things to other people.


First one, a woman who had a Teddy Bear with her mothers voice on it stolen, had it returned by good Samaritans. I just feel that we need some good.

I know that I'm a genuienly negative guy, especially when it comes to my trust of human nature. But there are some great



People Brah moments happening out there, and they deserve not only praise for it, but sometimes we just need something to help us and our mental state.

'Best news ever': Missing Alberta tortoise reappears 7 days later

A three-year-old boy is smiling again after his pet tortoise — who went missing a week ago — has reappeared in the family's backyard in Airdrie, Alta.

His mom, Theresa Dykstra, says it feels pretty amazing.

"That hope exists and that dreams come true and we are just so happy to have him home," Dykstra told CBC News.

"My only conclusion would be that someone took him and then finally got the courage to return him," she said.

"We are just so grateful to that person and for everybody's help and assistance in having Georgey returned. It is just the best news ever."
